Do your staff struggle to stay positive?
Are staff teams often miscommunicating?
Do teachers need more support in addressing difficult topics with pupils?
I am aware of the pressures on school staff today, as someone who has experience working as a therapist, teaching assistant and drama teacher in schools.
It is essential that staff feel supported and integrated into a school culture of positive attitudes. This promotes a higher quality of teaching and well-being for all at the school.
Staff have the task of managing challenging behaviour, support special needs, and face having to navigate challenging conversations with pupils around topics of; politics, violence, sex, drugs, peer relationships and discrimination. Often staff do not feel equipped for navigating these discussions.
My staff workshops promote:
- positive school culture
- enable integration and positive modules of communication
- promote confidence and self-esteem
- discover underlying difficulties
- develop working relationships among staff
